Worry Is An Insult To God

Posted by admin on Feb 1st, 2010

Worry is a cause or feeling of anxiety over a particular incident or issue of life. A worried person becomes uneasy and frets about what might happen. Most of the time, they discover that there is no substance in what they are worried about!

Our Lord Jesus Christ says in Matthew 6:25-27, “Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”

When you worry, you are telling God that He is not capable of handling the situation. He is the Almighty and it is an insult to think that He is not able to see you through that problem. He is more than able and He will even do exceedingly and abundantly above your expectations.

If God could feed the birds of the air and clothe the lilies of the field, He will do much more for you because you are precious in His sight. You are the apple of His eye and He loves you dearly. He wants you to cast all your cares onto His broad shoulders and you will be amazed at the wonders of our Almighty God.

I encourage you to put your faith to work and worry will be a thing of the past for you. You need to exercise your faith on a daily basis and seek His kingdom, which is righteousness, peace and joy. Once you do this, everything else will be added onto you and you will notice that worry will fade away for good.

Worry can never solve any problem but the Word of God can. The more you worry, the more disturbed you become and you will not be able to pray. The problem will them become enlarged and get out of control. But when you confess the Word of God about the situation, stand on it and you will see God move in a mighty way.

Child of God, Jesus is inviting you today to cast all your cares upon Him and He will sustain you. He will never let you fall as He has engraved you on the palms of His Hands. He cares for you so much and He wants you to lay all your anxiety at His feet, and He will take care of them, free of charge!

Refuse to worry, as God already knows what you are going through. He just wants you to trust Him and He will work things out for your own good. Do not allow discouragement to take root in your life. Be encouraged and believe that God is in the midst of all your challenges. You will have a testimony, to the glory of our Almighty Father. PEACE

Just Trust In The Lord Always

Posted by admin on Oct 28th, 2009

“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight”. Proverbs 3:5-6. You must trust God without reservation and you must not doubt Him in all things.

There is no one more reliable than the Almighty God and His will for your life is perfect. He can never deceive you nor let you down, because He is not a man; He is the Omnipotent God. The scripture quoted above says you should trust Him with all of your heart; not 99.9% of it. The trust should be all or nothing.

The bible says in Proverbs 16:20b, “Blessed is he who trusts in the Lord”. Blessings follow you when you put your complete trust in Jehovah God. Once you depend on Him fully, He will never disappoint you. Man can give you some promises one minute and then disappoint you the next minute. Our God is not like man; He is sovereign and He will not let you fall.

“Trust in Him at all times, O people, pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge”. Psalm 62:8. If you trust in the Lord at all times, there is no way you can go wrong. You will have so much peace and you will have rest in Him. I encourage you to put your trust in the Lord as He cares deeply for those who trust in Him.

“Offer right sacrifices and trust in the Lord”. Psalm 4:5. God wants you to trust Him fearlessly and requires you to offer your body as a living sacrifice. Your love for Him should cast out any fear and doubt; hence you can trust Him completely. He will keep you from falling as long as you rely on Him. He is the Good Shepherd and He cares for you.

“I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:2. The Lord is a willing and caring confidant you can rely on at all times. He is your Strength, Mighty Rock, Fortress, Stronghold and High Tower. He will never leave you nor forsake you. If you commit whatever you do to the Lord, your plans will succeed always. He has a perfect will for your life and you must depend and count on Him.

When some of us want to board a plane to take us to another location, we put our trust in the pilot, who sits in the cockpit. We do not see him but we still put our trust in him anyway, to take us to our destination. We do not even know if he is fit to pilot the plane at that particular time, but we still trust him and rely on him for our safety. If we have so much trust in a pilot, how much more our Almighty God. Our trust in Him must be greater than the trust we put in a pilot or anyone else.

Child of God, I encourage you to trust in the Lord always, and do good. You will never go wrong and you will enjoy His peace and rest all the time.
