Fret Not Because God Is With You-Part 1

Posted by admin on Nov 9th, 2011

Beloved, the plan of God for your life is to trust Him completely and not fret. When you fret, you become worried, anxious and you make a “down payment” for something that may not even happen. By doing this, you demonstrate that God is not able and this is an insult to the Almighty God, the Creator of the whole universe.

Fretting makes you become peevish, irritable and impatient; God does not want you to live that way. He wants you to live the abundant spiritual life that Jesus died on the cross to give you. You must not let the precious price that Jesus paid for you to go to waste!

The Word of God tells us in Psalm 37:1-4, “Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

When you have tenacious faith in God’s presence, protection, power and promises, all your worries will be conquered. Let your faith overcome your worry and God will turn your worry into worship, for His glory. Fear, which is the opposite of faith, plays a big part in worry and anxiety.

The Lord wants you to cast all your cares, fears and anxieties onto Him and He will take perfect control and give you rest. You can face any fear when you know that the Lord is with you. You can doubt your own abilities and potential, but never doubt what God can do with you when you trust and obey Him fully.

Child of God, be encouraged and believe that God will give you the strength you need for this journey of life. So you do not need to fret. Just relax and believe that God is at work in your life. He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you and you will not suffer shame. AMEN

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Thank you for dying for me on the cross, to set me free from my sins. I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.”

Fret Not Because God Is With You-Part 2

Posted by admin on Nov 9th, 2011

Beloved, if you believe that Jesus lives in you, you don’t need to fret about anything. If you find yourself in a crisis of circumstances, you need to trust God for guidance. He is sovereign over changing circumstances and He will guide you all the way.

Have peace and rest in the Lord always instead of fretting, and He will deliver, according to His promises. The Almighty God has promised never to leave nor forsake us and we need to thank Him daily for this great promise. If we trust Him completely, we will dwell safely and nothing shall make us fret, because God is with us.

We need to take authority over the things that have filled us with worry and use the powerful Word of God as our weapon. Once you stand upon the immutable Word of God, you need to reject the interference of fretting, in Jesus’ matchless name. Choose to believe in God’s Word and stand firmly on His promises, which are “Yes in Christ.”  2 Corinthians 1:20b

Beloved, I want you to know that fretting is a lack of trust in God and it is a great insult to Him. Put your weight on God and He will never disappoint you. You will be amazed at the wonders and miracles He will perform in your life. Fretting will not solve any problem but when you trust God completely, He will show up and give you success.

Child of God, be encouraged and believe that God will give you the strength you need for this journey of life. So, you do not need to fret. Just relax and believe that God is at work in your life. He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you and you will not suffer shame. Be rest assured that God is working in the background and have a holy expectancy. Receive all that He has prepared for you, thank, praise, and worship HIM for His goodness and faithfulness.  PEACE

God Will Never Leave You Nor Forsake You – Part 1

Posted by admin on Jun 20th, 2011

God, Himself, is with you always and He is your Saviour, Keeper and Friend. He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you. No matter what you go through, He will be with you and He will not leave you to deal with issues by yourself.

Sometimes, we pray and ask God to be with us. But if He has already promised in His Word that He will never leave us nor forsake us, why not believe His Word and trust Him, without a shadow of doubt? Our prayer should be based on thanks and praise for our God, for not leaving nor forsaking us.

We should not fret, but trust and lean on Him completely. The bible tells us in Deuteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord, your God, goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Yes, child of God, do not de terrified of the circumstances you may find yourself. Be rest assured that God will do what He has promised. All you need to do is hand over everything to Him and depend on Him totally, by faith. God only works on your faith, as anything else does not please Him. Have complete faith that God is with you always, as He has assured you in His Word.

Before Moses handed over to Joshua, he assured him in Deuteronomy 31:7-8, “Be strong and courageous, for you must go with these people into the land that the Lord swore to their forefathers to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. The Lord, Himself, goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

God also told Joshua, after he took over from Moses, “No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:5. God’s presence has to do with giving us the power to carry out His will and not our own will.

Child of God, be encouraged as you are not alone. Our God will be with you always and He will not leave you to carry any burden by yourself. Remember that if you believe His Word, you will always enjoy His presence. Peace

God Will Never Leave You Nor Forsake You – Part 2

Posted by admin on Jun 20th, 2011

As God has promised never to leave nor forsake us, we need to believe His Word and thank Him for His indwelling Spirit. He is willing and able to direct us in the ways He wants us to go. We should not enlist God to do our will but humbly submit to doing His will.

When we are doing God’s will, He will be with us, even without our asking. If we are not doing His will, we need to ask for forgiveness, change our ways and follow Him, wholeheartedly. We must endeavour to make our prayers not to be mindless but instead mindful of God’s will.

God may be invisible, but He is in touch with His people. We may not be able to see Him, but He is in full control of all our circumstances, all of our past, present and future. Once you decide to follow God, He will walk with you all the way. He loves you very much and He will never leave you during your times of trials and suffering.

Our God will carry you during difficult times and His Spirit will comfort you. You are not alone as God is with you always. You can boldly confess, “The Lord is my Helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:6. Yes, confess this with the confidence of God and trust Him totally.

The bible tells us about King David in Psalm 27:10, “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” Yes, our family and friends may forsake us, but God will never forsake us. God did not leave nor forsake David during his times of trials and difficulties. David had learned how to depend on God for everything and the Lord fought his battles and gave him victory over his enemies.

Child of God, be encouraged. God will not abandon you if you look up to Him and trust Him 100%. He will guard your life and rescue you from seen and unseen traps. He will not let you fall and you will not be put to shame, if you take refuge in Him. Rejoice and know that God will never leave nor forsake you, to life’s end. AMEN

Your Help Only Comes From The Lord – Part 1

Posted by admin on Apr 7th, 2011

Help is described as a way of making things better or easier for us and also to aid or assist us in everything we do. The bible tells us in Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” HE is a tested Helper in every situation we may find ourselves.

We do not need to fear because God is always near us and will help us whenever we need help. He cares for us in every situation and He is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need Him. Prayer puts us in touch with God and we just have to ask Him to help us during our journey of life. He is always waiting to hear from us.

God’s Word tells us in Psalm 60:11, “Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.” If you bank on man to help you, you will be greatly disappointed as man’s help is useless and it is vanity upon vanity. Man has no power or means to help you; your help only comes from the Lord.

If you trust God completely and ask Him for help, He will show up and decide whom He can send to deliver the help to you. And when God does this, do not think, for a minute, that your help is from that person sent to you. Whoever God sends to you is only being used as an extension of HIS Hand, to help you. Focus your attention on God only and give HIM all the glory, as no man can ever share HIS glory.

Also, if you look up to man for help, he will only disappoint you, remember he has no means or power to help. But if you look up to God for help, HE will never disappoint you. HIS eye is on those who trust HIM and look up to Him for help. One of the wonderful joys of being a believer in Jesus is, knowing that our Heavenly Father is always watching over us. And HE is ready to help us at any given time.

Child of God, do not despair! Help is on the way, if you have already put in your request to the Lord. He is very faithful and He will definitely show up and surprise you, to HIS glory. Be expectant and let your heart be full of praise and thanksgiving to the KING of kings and the LORD of lords.   AMEN

Your Help Only Comes From The Lord – Part 2

Posted by admin on Apr 7th, 2011

As God is our Helper, we are never out of His sight and He will always keep us sheltered in His ever-present love. With His help, you will do many things, for His glory. The bible tells us in Psalm 121:1-2, “I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.” Remember, your help only comes from the Lord!

We need to be careful not to take God’s help for granted, but appreciate all the help He is giving us. He has promised to strengthen and help us. His Spirit helps us in our weakness and He upholds us with His right Hand of righteousness.

If you need help in your finances, marriage, education, relationships, ministry, or in any other area of your life, just approach God and ask Him. He is your loving Heavenly Father and He will never turn you away. He is always waiting, with His hands open, to deliver that help to you at any given time. But you must be after His Heart and be in His will for your life.

The bible tells us about the great famine in Samaria, when Ben-Hadad, king of Aram, mobilized his entire army and marched up and laid a siege to Samaria. The siege lasted so long that food was very expensive. “As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, “Help me, my lord, the king!” The king replied, “If the Lord does not help you, where can I get help for you?” From the threshing floor” From the winepress?” 2Kings 6:26-27.

Even the king of Israel knew that it was only God who could help that woman in distress, as he had no means of helping her himself. The king knew that their help could only come from the Lord, as the situation in Samaria was very bad. The woman trusted a human king, but the king recognized the help of God, the KING of kings and the LORD of lords. ALLELUIA.

Child of God, I encourage you to recognize God as your only HELPER. Look up to Him only and not onto man, as he has no means or power of helping you. Trust God totally and He will certainly help you in every area of your life. He will always make a way where there is no way.

Put your requests to the Almighty, with prayers, and don’t forget to thank HIM for His goodness and faithfulness. PEACE!

God Is Doing A New Thing – Part 1

Posted by admin on Mar 30th, 2011

Our God is a God of new beginnings. His Word says in Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up, do you not perceive 1t? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland”.

No matter what you have gone through or going through right now, God is going to do a new thing in your life, if you allow Him. He wants you to forget all your past pains and failures, so that you can give Him the green light to do a new thing. If you let your past failures block the way, God will not be able to move in your life.

You need to let God be God and give Him the permission to perform miracles in your life. You should not let your past failures cloud your present and do not let them choke your future. Apostle Paul says in Philippians 3:13b-14, “But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward, in Christ Jesus”.

I presume we all know about the story of Apostle Paul, when he was known as Saul and persecuting the Christians. He then had an encounter with our Lord, Jesus Christ, as he came near to Damascus. He was going to take Christians as prisoners to Jerusalem. The bible tells in Acts 9:3-6, “As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” “Who are you Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting”. He replied.

Saul had an encounter with our Lord, Jesus Christ, and he allowed Him to touch his life in a mighty way. Even though, Saul had a terrible past, he made a choice to forget and move on. God then used him to touch so many lives and he ended writing most of the books in the New Testament. What an awesome testimony!

When you let go of your past failures and pain, God will do a new thing and use you mightily to touch many lives, for HIS glory. Paul chose to forget what was behind him, and moved on to win the prize for which God had called him. I know that you will have a testimony when you allow God to do new thing in your life.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

God Is Doing A New Thing – Part 2

Posted by admin on Mar 30th, 2011

Even, past success can cloud and choke your present and future, if you do not let go of them. For example, one could be dwelling on the fact that they were a millionaire or very successful once before. That was then; what is happening now? If they do not let go of their past success, God will not be able to do more for them.

Our God is “Jehovah I am” and not “Jehovah I was”. He is a God of now, and He wants to work in your life, if you allow Him. He wants you to “see I am doing a new thing”. What you are able to see is what you are able to get from Him. The bible says in Genesis 13:14-15, “The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see, I will give to you and your offspring forever”.

Wow! What a great promise from the Lord. When you have a vision of what God is about to do in your life, you will let go of your past failures and successes. The bible says, “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge (or vision)” Hosea 4:6. In short, your miracle is in your hands, if you co-operate with the Almighty.

I want to encourage you with a short testimony about myself. Before I met my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, I was going through a lot of pain, anger, unforgiveness, guilt, condemnation, bitterness and frustration. After I got saved, by the Grace of God, the Lord gave me deliverance through the scripture in Isaiah 43:18-19 (which I quoted in the first paragraph). He made me to understand that all I had gone through was like “split milk” and there was nothing I could do about them. He also told me, through His Word,  that  “there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”. Romans 8:1

But He gave me His grace to accept the situation and co-operate with Him to get my deliverance. He performed a “spiritual surgical operation” on me and uprooted all the pain, anger, unforgiveness, guilt, condemnation, bitterness and frustration. At the end of it, He set me free from all those things and gave me a thorough cleansing. Alleluia! No doctor on planet earth could have done that for me. Whoever the Lord sets free, is free indeed!

Child of God, you can be set free today, from all those past failures and pain that are taking hold of you. I am not despising your pain; but I know that my God who did for me will do more for you. He is no Respecter of persons; He loves all of us, equally. Let God be God; let go of all those hurts and lay them at the foot of the cross. Let God work through you and set you free today; you will be glad you did. I pray that God will grant you grace to let go, as He did for me, in Jesus’ matchless Name, Amen. Enjoy the peace of the Lord.

Strive To Live In Peace And Gratitude – Part 1

Posted by admin on Feb 25th, 2011

Peace is described as tranquillity, stillness and freedom from contention. The Lord blesses His people with peace and He keeps those whose mind is rested on Him in perfect peace. We need to seek peace, pursue it and enjoy it, to the glory of God. A heart of peace gives life to the body.

Our Lord Jesus Christ says in John 14:27a, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives.” Jesus wants us to have peace in Him and not depend on the peace the world gives, as this does not last. When we strive to live in peace, we are over-comers through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

When you go through some unpleasant situation in life, cry out to the Lord and hand everything over to Him. The assurance that He has heard you brings peace. It is easier to sleep well when you accept with full assurance that God is in control of your life. If you are lying awake at night worrying about circumstances you can’t change, ask God for the gift of His peace.  Then sleep well, knowing that He can handle your problems better than you can.

If you commit your life to the Lord and accept His forgiveness, you can experience the great joy and peace that comes from a relationship with your Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace and His ever-expanding and peaceful government will never end. He brings true justice and peace to all the nations of the world.

If you want true peace, seek God first, and then you will receive His peace. But if you choose to remain in sin and reject God’s offer of forgiveness, peace will continue to elude you. I pray that this will not be your portion, in Jesus’ exalted name. It seems that in large part, peace is up to us as Apostle Paul says in Romans 12:18, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” God expects you to be a peacemaker and wants you to make the first move, whether you are the offender or the offended. You need to act quickly in order to reduce spiritual damage to you.

Let us strive to make peace our gift to the world we live in as we reflect the Prince of Peace. We know at times there will be strife but when conflict drops into our lives, let us endeavour to solve it peacefully. When we experience peace with God, we can share His peace with others and bring glory to His name. Allow the peace of God, which passes all understanding, surround you at all times. Receive His peace for every step you take and you will be free from anxiety. Rejoice in the Lord for guiding your future with His peace.

Amen.”

Strive To Live In Peace And Gratitude–Part 2

Posted by admin on Feb 25th, 2011

When we submit to the standard established by Christ and love others as God loves us, we will live in peace with one another. The world will know by our love for God and others that HE is great. When we live in peace with one another, let us show gratitude to God for giving us the gift of His peace.

Gratitude is being thankful for favours received and being grateful is true love and has no strings attached. For the Christians, thanksgiving or showing gratitude is not just a day, but also a way of life. We have so much to be thankful for everyday as God continually provides for all our needs.

It is right to make the thanksgiving a yearlong celebration. One thing that can steal one’s peace is when they are being criticized or are under false accusation. The worst criticism of you can bring out the best in you if you choose to have inner peace when under criticism. We can ask the Holy Spirit to help us so that we can respond in a Christ-like way to false accusation, criticism or gossip.

Then, we can depend on the Word of God in 1 Peter 3:8-9, which says, “Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.”

As we depend on the Word of God for inner peace, we should be thankful and show gratitude to God for His Word. Gratitude should be a continuous attitude and not just an occasional incident. You will gain respect when people see that you are faithful to God’s Word. If you are living for Christ, you may lose some friends but you will not lose their respect.

The Psalmist says in Psalm 31:14, “But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” When you trust in the Lord, you will begin to find peace and you will acknowledge that your times are in His Hands, and not anyone else. You can then exchange the fear of terror for peace, praise and gratitude.

When you put your faith and trust in the living God, it takes the fear out of living. Trust God to give you peace in the storm of life and have rest in HIM. There is no situation our God cannot take care of, if you trust Him totally. The secret of peace is to give every anxious care to God.

You can experience peace of mind and calmness of spirit when you hold fast your confidence in God’s faithfulness and His everlasting love. Show gratitude to the Lord and His peace will increase in your habitation. Strive to walk under the canopy of God’s peace and His peace will be released in your household. He will give you peace and safety at all times.

Amen.”
