God wants you to believe that His power will be displayed in any situation; He is worthy of our love, worship and total trust. If you put your request to Him in prayers and He asked you to do certain things, which look foolish to the human wisdom, the only option you have is to follow His instructions.

Once you follow His instructions to the letter, you will have your miracle in the end. The Bible says “But God chose the foolish things of this world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong” 1 Corinthians 1:27. The wisdom of man is like filthy rags to God, but our God is the all-wise God. Human knowledge seems impressive, but God-kind of knowledge and wisdom are above all.

YOUR MIRACLE IS IN “THE DOING”

Your miracle is in your hands, when you do what God tells you, without adding or subtracting from it. Sometimes, we think that we are mature and smart to handle our problems ourselves, instead of taking them to Jesus.

You can be rest assured that once you hand over your problems to Him, you will get good results; He will never let you down. The Bible tells us in John 2:1-5, “On the third day, a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to Him, “They have no more wine”. “Dear woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied, “My hour has not yet come”. His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you”.

In short, Mary told the servants to obey Jesus’ instructions, to the letter. She knew that their miracle was in their total obedience. They needed to do whatever Jesus told them to do, even if it sounded foolish to them! “Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus said the servants, “Fill the jar with water, so they filled them with water to the brim. Then He told them, “Now draw some water out and take it to the master of the banquet. John 2:6-8.

“They did so and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now”. John 2:9-10.

This miracle happened because the servants obeyed Jesus’ instructions, without any questions. Their miracle was in their hands; their part was to obey. The water turned into wine as they were filling up the jars, in accordance with His instructions. Jesus did not touch the water in the jars; He only told them to do what seemed strange to them. They asked for wine but He told them to fill the jars with water!

The Bible tells in Matthew 14:19b-20 about Jesus feeding the five thousand with five loaves and two fish. “He gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over”.

By faith, the disciples took the loaves Jesus had broken and started giving them to the people. Whilst they were doing this, the loaves and fish kept multiplying, with lots of leftovers. Alleluia

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Thank you for dying for me on the cross, to set me free from my sins. I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.”

Congratulations, if you have prayed this prayer, please look for a Bible-believing church, to fellowship with the brethren. Please do not hesitate to contact me, if I can be of any assistance to you. Remain blessed and enjoy the presence of the Lord.
