The highest level of joy you will ever know is having a clear understanding of God’s will and knowing how to fulfil it. Once you know that, you can lace up your shoes and start running. You can only win if you run on the track the Lord has chosen for you. As King David prayed, you will pray for the Lord to teach you His ways and lead you in a straight path.
Once you are convinced that God has a unique plan for your life, be ready to abandon yourself to Him, in trust. Refuse to settle for what you can do as this will not let you see what God can do. Also, pray that the Lord will strengthen your faith to do His will, as it is impossible to please God, without faith.
In order to fulfil your calling, you will need to set goals. When God gives you a goal, He will supply all that is required to reach it. Without goals, you cannot measure your progress in your calling. Furthermore, if your goals do not demand growth, you should already have reached them.
Unless you determine where you are going, you will either end up somewhere else or others will determine it for you. You have to be specific, on what you want to achieve, in a short time. Apostle Paul says, “I press toward the mark for the prize of high calling and press towards it everyday.” Phillipians 3:14
You have to stay connected to God if you want to reach your goal. Jesus said, “I am the Vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.” John 15:5. Staying connected to God is vital in fulfilling your calling. He is your only source and He wants you to depend on Him fully. King Saul’s greatest concern was his standing before the people. But King David’s greatest concern was his standing before God. What a difference! If you abide, you will automatically abound.
You have got to know where your help comes from, otherwise you will waste your time chasing people who have no more power than you. The secret in great ministry lies in what we are willing to lay aside in order to respond to God’s call; like laying aside the comforts of home and go where His name has never been heard or giving sacrificially to support those who go in your place.
Let God be your compass for divine direction and you will never go the wrong way. Fulfilling your calling should not be taken lightly. You will fulfil divine destiny if you choose to answer God’s call with all your heart. Trust the Almighty fully and you will enjoy His peace all the way.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Thank you for dying for me on the cross, to set me free from my sins. I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.”
Congratulations, if you have prayed this prayer. Please look for a Bible-believing church, to fellowship with the brethren. Please do not hesitate to contact me, if I can be of any assistance to you. Remain blessed and enjoy the presence of the Lord.
