Be Yourself Because You Are An Original

Posted by admin on Jul 6th, 2010

When you decide to be yourself, you settle to exist and live as yourself; not like somebody else. I would like to inform you that there is no one like you on planet earth, because you are an original, created by our Almighty God.

You may look like someone or they may look like you, but you are not exactly the same. All your features are unique and no one on this planet has your fingerprints. The Psalmists says about our God, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalm 139:14-16

God took time to make you and He put everything in place. You were fearfully and wonderfully made. As He has not got a duplicating machine, He made you as an original copy and no one can duplicate you. You are an unusual creative and inventive work of the Almighty God. In the secular world, you are able to make photocopies of an original work of art or document. But in your case, no one can make copies of you, as you are an original and you are unique! ALLELUIA!

Our God is a beautiful God and He has made you in His own image. So this means you are beautiful too, and you are one of a kind on planet earth. Hence you should rejoice and glorify God for all the good things He has put in you.

The Almighty has created your inmost being and knitted you together in your mother’s womb. So, you are a masterpiece and a great handiwork of El-Shaddai, our Almighty God. He originated you and began to put you together while you were still in the soft silence of your mother’s womb. You are not a mistake and you are not junk, as God does not make mistakes nor create junk. He specialises in originality.

As The Almighty God took so much time to make you, it will be a waste of time if you want to be like someone else. This will be disappointing to our Heavenly Father. He wants you to be yourself and show off His great handiwork. After He finished creating you, He said you were good and you are still good; nothing has changed.

God has a purpose for creating you just as you are and He has a perfect plan for your life. His plan for you is good and not for evil. If you follow God’s plan for your life, you will fulfil divine destiny. Let me ask you a question; “Why would you like to look like somebody else?” God knows why He has made your eyes, legs, ears, mouth, arms, hands and all the parts of your body the way they are.

He knew fully well that they are just right for you and not for someone else. So God expects you to be fully content and happy within you. He expects gratefulness from you and appreciation for His great handiwork. If you desire to be like someone else, because you think they look better than you, then you are telling God that He did not know what He was doing when He created you. This would be a great insult to Him and I know you would not like to insult THE ALMIGHTY.

Originality is very important to God, as He is our Originator. Child of God, I encourage you to be content with who you are and be comfortable in your own skin. Glorify God and thank Him for the way He has made you. Do not let inferiority complex take hold of you, as this is not of God.

Be happy, genuinely challenged and fulfilled in life. Let the direction of your life lead you toward a satisfying and meaningful future. By doing this, you will be in the nucleus of God’s will for your life. Celebrate God and praise Him for creating you as His masterpiece and appreciate His great handiwork.

BE YOURSELF and enjoy the PEACE of God.

God Is In Charge Of Your “Spiritual Make-Up”

Posted by admin on Jun 18th, 2010

“Spiritual Make-up” can be described as the putting together and completion of all you need to do what God has called you to do. He prepares you systematically and equips you with His anointing to do His work. This process can only be successful if you co-operate with the Lord and you do not go ahead of Him.

There is the story of a Jewish orphan girl in the bible. Her name is Esther, which means, “star, dazzling or brilliant one” and her other name was Hadassah, which means, “hidden”. Her cousin, Mordecai, brought her up and she was lovely in form and features. At that time, the king of Persia was in search for a new queen after his wife was deposed.

Many girls were brought to the palace and Esther was one of them. They were all entrusted into the care of a man called Hegai, one of the king’s officials. It was Hegai’s duty to find the best girl for the king. The custom was for all the girls to go through the process of beauty treatments for twelve months; six months with oil of myrrh and six months with perfumes and cosmetics.

Out of all the girls, Esther pleased Hegai and she won his favour. “Immediately, he provided her with her beauty treatments and special food. He assigned to her seven maids selected from the king’s palace and moved her and her maids into the best place in the harem”. Esther 2:9.

During the process of the beauty treatments, Esther asked for nothing other than that which Hegai suggested. She was very focussed and underwent all the beauty treatments systematically. She did not go ahead of Hegai but listened carefully to all his instructions. And she won the favour of everyone who saw her.

When the time came for all the girls to be taken to the king, he was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women. So the king set up a royal crown on Esther and made her Queen. She was later used, by God, to deliver her people, the Jews, from annihilation.

We can all learn a few lessons from the way Esther conducted herself. If you want to enjoy God’s divine favour, take the necessary time to prepare yourself for His work. But it is very important for you to submit to God’s way, in the preparation. Do not go ahead of Him as He has called you; so He knows exactly what to do in the preparation. There are no short cuts in God’s way; it is all or nothing.

There is a price to pay during your “spiritual make-up” and this includes study, planned preparation and discipline. God will greatly reward you if you are prepared to pay this price. As Esther sought the approval of only one man, the king, so we must only seek the approval of our  God, who is the KING of kings and the LORD of lords. Seeking the approval of man is out of the question because man did not call you; the Almighty God called you. So, all eyes should be on Him and you need to carry out all His instructions, to the letter.

Once you have allowed God to perform your “spiritual make-up”, you will be able to carry out the work He called you to do. And only His opinion matters at the end of the day; man’s opinion does not count. Remember that before you were born, God has already set you apart to do His work. You were born with a plan and a set of divine instructions.

Child of God, if you listen carefully to the Lord and you do not step out ahead of Him, He will definitely reveal His great plan to you. You will enjoy His divine favour always. I encourage you to focus on God and do not look left or right for answers. Only our God has got all the answers and The Holy Spirit will empower, direct, and enable you to carry out His work, to the glory of our Lord.   PEACE

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

Great Is The Faithfulness Of Our God

Posted by admin on Jun 17th, 2010

Faithfulness is the act of being loyal, true to the original and trustworthy. Our God is faithful always; He does no wrong and His faithfulness is compared to none. He is a God of faithfulness without injustice. Even when we are faithless, He remains faithful to the end. Whatever you are trusting Him for, He will not disappoint you because He is faithful.

The bible says in Lamentations 3:22-23, “Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness”. God’s faithfulness continues through all generations and His mercy never fails. He does not treat us as we deserve because He is a loving God.

The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving towards all His creation. He upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. We should speak of His faithfulness and salvation always; and appreciate all that He does for us. He sends His divine love to us in every situation and His faithfulness reaches to the skies.

The Lord is a compassionate and gracious God; slow to anger and abounding in love and faithfulness. God will always come to your relief, in His faithfulness and righteousness. His faithfulness continues through all generations and He will be your shield and protective wall.

The Word of God says in Hebrews 2:17, “For this reason, He (Jesus) had to be made like His brothers in every way, in order that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in service to God, and that He might make atonement for the sins of the people”. Jesus is faithful as a Son over God’s house and we are His House, if we hold on to our courage. The glory is not onto us but onto the name of the Lord because of His love and faithfulness.

Child of God, I encourage to be faithful always, just as your Heavenly Father. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck and write them on the tablet of your heart. Always strive to plan what is good and you will find love and faithfulness. “Love and faithfulness keep a king safe; through love, his throne is made secure”. Proverbs 20:28

Stand secure on the sure foundation, which is Jesus Christ. As you do this and remain faithful, God will put His Spirit on you and He will use you to bring justice to the nations. Whatever He has committed in your hands to do, be faithful and do it with joy and gratitude.

The act of being faithful is performing some tasks when no one is looking, but only God is watching you. If you do things just to impress man, then you have missed the mark. It is God who is the overall Judge and not man. It is only God who can reward you, as man has no power to reward you. So, why impress man?

I encourage you to focus on God only and be faithful to Him. Let Him boast about your faithfulness to the truth and how you continue to walk in the truth. Be faithful in your calling and all that you do to others, even though they are strangers to you. As you do this, you are doing it onto the Lord and not onto man. The Lord will definitely reward you hundred-fold, to the glory of His name. AMEN. PEACE

Depend On God Alone And Not On Man

Posted by admin on Jun 16th, 2010

One of the most important things you can do is to be determined to depend totally on God. If you rely on Him for everything, He can never let you down. Total dependency on God is putting your total weight on Him. Also, if you do not quit depending on Him, you can never lose.

Man can disappoint you anytime; hence it is not advisable to rely on man. Your help comes from the Lord alone and not from anyone else. Our God, who is the maker of Heaven and earth, is the only one who can help you without any disappointment. He will never let your foot slip as He does not sleep nor slumber.

He watches over you and all that concerns you, both day and night. He will not let the sun harm you by day nor the moon by night. He will keep you from all harm and watch over your life, if you rely on Him alone. As you go out and come in, He is there to keep an eye on you. Man cannot do all these for you; so why depend on man?

If you call on God in your distress, He will answer you and come to your rescue. He will be with you in the time of trouble and He will deliver you. The Lord will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. He will not let any harm befall you and no disaster will come near your household.

The Psalmist says, “Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. Praise be to His glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen. Psalm 72:18-19

Child of God, let your salvation and your honour depend totally on God, as He is your mighty rock and your refuge. He is a strong and loving God and He will reward you according to the level of your dependability on Him.

In all that you do, I encourage to strive to please God and not man. Be a God-pleaser and not a man-pleaser! Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “The One who sent me is with me; He has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases Him”. John 8:29.

Apostle Paul decided to please God and depend on Him alone and not man. If he had pleased man, he would not have become an Apostle and would not have fulfilled his destiny. You can only please God by faith, because it is totally impossible to please Him without faith.

God should always take the glory in your life and do not allow man to steal God’s glory as all glory belongs to HIM alone. Fear no man but let the reverential fear of God be in your heart because He is the Almighty God. He takes pleasure in your total dependability on Him.

If you set the Lord always before you, you will not be shaken. He will “make your feet like the feet of a deer and He will enable you to stand on the heights”, Psalm 18:33. I encourage you to be Christ-like and depend on our Heavenly Father for everything. You will never regret it because He is not a man.  PEACE!

The Humble Act of Gleaning Leads To Promotion

Posted by admin on Jun 15th, 2010

Gleaning is the act of collecting grain left by reapers in the field. It is the “leftover” grain that the gleaner is collecting, with gratitude. Gleaning is also the gathering of facts, laboriously, from various sources.

When you attach yourself to your God-given helpers and you glean from them, you gain spiritually from that source. You will have added knowledge in certain areas of your life. The bible tells us about Joshua, son of Nun, who attached himself to God’s great Prophet, Moses. Joshua gleaned a lot from Moses and he succeeded him; he led the Israelites to cross the Jordan River. The Lord told Joshua, ” I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses”. Joshua 1:3

There was a woman, called Ruth, a Moabitess, and she was a widow. She was totally committed to her mother-in-law, Naomi, and she was ready to go wherever Naomi went. In spite of Ruth’s grief and loneliness, she was determined to get back to work. She found herself gleaning in a field, which belonged to Boaz, a relative of her late father-in-law.

Ruth was very grateful for given the chance to glean and collect the leftover grain after the reapers. She was very appreciative and gleaned without grumbling. While gleaning, Ruth found favour in the eyes of Boaz.

He told her, “My daughter, listen to me. Don’t go and glean in another field and don’t go away from here. Stay with my servant girls. Watch the field where the men are harvesting and follow along after the girls. I have told the men not to touch you. And whenever you are thirsty, go and get a drink from the water jars the men have filled.” Ruth 2:8-9

Wow! What a great favour! This is God’s divine favour bestowed on Ruth, and she accepted it with gratitude. Even though she was a foreigner, Boaz was led to show her favour and God was glorified. ALLELUIA! When Ruth started working in the field, she did not ask for a posh position. She settled for the position of a gleaner and was very happy about this. Also she appreciated Boaz’s favour towards her. This is great humility and unpretentious act.

Boaz even gave orders to the harvesters not to embarrass her but to leave some stalks for her to pick up. Ruth continued to glean until she was promoted to eating with the harvesters and she even had leftover. At the end of each day, she was able to take some food home to Naomi, her mother-in-law.

The favour Boaz showed to Ruth escalated when he married her. In all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Boaz and Ruth had a son named Obed, who became the father of Jesse and the grandfather of David, through whom Jesus came.

You can see that Ruth was promoted from the humble act of gleaning to being the great, great, great grandmother of our Lord Jesus Christ. What an honour and a great promotion!

Child of God, I encourage you to glean from those who have been put ahead of you, by God. It is a humbling act and you will experience divine favour and promotion in all that you do for the Lord. You are God’s choicest instrument in the worst of times and you do not want to miss that opportunity.

Let the Holy Spirit direct you into whose “field” you can glean from. I encourage you to continue to walk with God and He will never mislead you. Instead, He will promote you beyond your expectations and you will be truly amazed. PEACE

God Has Taken Away Your Reproach

Posted by admin on Jun 14th, 2010

A reproach is a source of shame or disgrace and this can bring a lot of distress to an individual. This source of shame is a painful emotion arising from guilt, modesty, disgrace or dishonour. This could happen in the community you live in, your place of work or in your home.

But God is telling you, “Do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults”. Isaiah 51:7b. No one, whose hope is in God, will ever be put to shame. If you trust in the Lord, you will never be put to shame. Jesus took away your reproach when He suffered and died a shameful death on the cross for you.

If Jesus took away your reproach, you have no business carrying it with you, as this will be classed as excess baggage. Jesus said on the cross, “It is finished”. That is, everything that will bring shame or reproach to you is all finished with. Your salvation, which includes wholeness, divine health, prosperity, divine protection and favour, was all concluded on the cross.

There is a story of a woman called Elizabeth in the bible; she was a descendant of Aaron, a Levite. Her name means “God is my consecration” but she was barren and advanced in years, together with her husband, Zechariah. But the Lord took this reproach from them when He blessed them with a baby boy, John the Baptist, who went before Jesus, in spirit and in power.

Elizabeth said, “The Lord has done this for me. In these days, He has shown His favour and taken away my disgrace among the people”. Luke 1:25.

Child of God, whatever reproach you seem to be facing now, be rest assured that God has taken it away. He will give you praise and honour in every area where you have been put to shame.

God has given you this great promise in His Word, “Instead of their same, my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace, they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.” Isaiah 61:7

You may be trusting God for a life partner, fruit of the womb, a job, financial breakthrough and restoration of your marriage right now and think that time is running out. But I encourage you to relax and look unto God for a miracle because He specializes in showing up when you are not expecting it. He is a God of “sudden miracles” and all the glory will go to Him alone. He will surprise you and you will be amazed!

God is already working things out for you and He will take away your reproach. God is so faithful and He will never abandon you; His name will be glorified in your life.

God of Elizabeth will do more than what you expect and surprise you in a big way. People will rejoice with you and they will know that you serve a living and a big God. ALLELUIA!

Just hold on and do not give up and you will celebrate the goodness of the God of the whole universe, very soon. AMEN.

Love, Peace and Joy always.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Thank you for dying for me on the cross, to set me free from my sins. I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.”

Your “Dry Bones” Shall Live Again – Part 1

Posted by admin on Jun 14th, 2010

All things are possible with God and you need to believe Him for everything, as He is more than able. He is the Almighty God and His Hand is not short. Nothing is too hard for Him to do. If you believe in the Word of God and do not doubt in your heart, you will have whatever you ask for.

Be careful not to write someone or something off because God has not finished with them yet. Do not underestimate the power of God; He has got the ultimate power and He has the whole world in His Hands. He is more than able to bring dead situations back to life. The Almighty God is able to restore someone you might think is useless in the sight of men.

It is not advisable to write off anyone or situation you think may be beyond restoration. God is alive and He is not nervous; He is at work in your life. He never sleeps nor slumbers and His eyes go to and fro over the universe. He is never tired of coming to our aid, as He loves us so much.

The bible tells us in Ezekiel 37:1-6, when God spoke to Prophet Ezekiel, “The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord, and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry”. “He asked me,, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “O Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, “Dry bones, hear the Word of the Lord!

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

God is faithful and He will allow your “dry bones” to live again if you trust Him and His Word. There is no way He will forsake you, as He is not man. He will always be by your side and give you the victory. Look unto Him only as your help comes from Him only and not from man. Man may disappoint you but God will never disappoint you.

Child of God, our Almighty Father is waiting for you to prophesy into every “dead” situation in your life and He will do something. If you play your own part, God will definitely play His part, as you are a co-worker with Him.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer: “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Your “Dry Bones” Shall Live Again – Part 2

Posted by admin on Jun 14th, 2010

A “dry bone” in your life could be problems in your finances, marriage, health, family, job, relationship or ministry. God is telling you to prophesy into that dead situation and bring it alive. Be a prophet over your life and prophesy to your “dry bones” and command them to hear the Word of God.

Command them to come alive by using the authority Jesus has already given you when He said, “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19. There is power in the Word of God and His Word is like fire and sharper than any two-edged sword.

When you speak God’s Word, with His confidence, to any dead situation, in the name of Jesus, “I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.” John 14:13-14.

This is an invitation from Jesus and you cannot afford to refuse it. God is in the business of restoration and that is why you must never give up on any matter. Child of God, I encourage you to rise up in your spirit now and begin to speak to that “dry bone”. You will experience changes, as God will rise on your behalf.

The kingdom of God has been forcefully advancing and forceful men lay hold of it. Be violent in your spirit and take what belongs to you by force. Do not give Satan a foothold because we are not unaware of his devices.

Your “dry bones” shall live again, if you go about it in God’s way; if you use the weapon He has given you. This weapon is the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. There is nothing more powerful than His Word.

When Prophet Ezekiel prophesied to the valley of dry bones as he was commanded, all the bones came together; tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them. But then, they had no breath in them. So the Lord commanded him to prophesy breath into them. Breath came into them and they all came to life and stood up on their feet! ALLELUIA!

Child of God, when you speak the Word of God to your “dry bones”, do not stop until they come alive fully. Half measures do not work; go all the way until you get good and lasting results.

Go on, prophesy to those “dry bones” now and you will see them come alive, in Jesus’ mighty name. AMEN. Enjoy the peace and goodness of the Lord.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

Give Thanks To God, For HIS Love Endures Forever

Posted by admin on Jun 11th, 2010

Thanksgiving is an act of gratitude to God. He is a just, kind, loving and compassionate God. When you thank Him for His goodness, you unlock the door to your breakthrough. Our God deserves praise and thanksgiving because He is God and there is none like Him.

The Psalmist says, “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His Name, make known among the nations what He has done”. Psalm 105:1. Thanksgiving inspires the spirit of humility. It is a delight to show gratitude to God for His mercy, unending love, divine favour and protection.  When you praise and thank God always, He will do exceedingly more than you ask or imagine, for His own glory.

At the dedication of the walls of Jerusalem, Nehemiah, the servant of God, had the leaders of Judah go up on top of the wall. He also assigned two large choirs to give thanks to the Lord. This was in appreciation to the goodness of God in helping Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah understood that he had no power of his own to do the work. He had to rely totally on the Lord to give him strength and power to carry the work to the end. Praise God forevermore!!

Thanksgiving is good as it deepens and strengthens our roots. When you celebrate and appreciate God, you are telling Him that He is very important in your life and He is the main focal point. When you focus on your problem, you are telling God that your problem is bigger than God. And that is not correct, as God is much bigger than any problem.

The bible says in Isaiah 12:4-6, “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done, and proclaim that His name is exalted. Sing to the Lord for He has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you”.

Thanksgiving is an act of sacrifice, discipline and godliness. Instead of complaining about a boring job or task, do it with a thankful heart. Thank God that you have that job or task to do and also thank Him that He has given you the strength to do it. Alleluia! When you do the job without complaining, God will promote you, as promotion comes from Him alone and not from man.

Be grateful always, as murmuring stinks in the nostrils of God.

Child of God, I encourage you to come before the Lord, always, with thanksgiving and not grumbling. The Israelites grumbled against God and He was not pleased with them at all. Be thankful to God because He always leads you and gives you the victory.

He watches over you and everything that concerns you. Thank Him for the privilege of life, as it is not our right that we are alive today. God has kept us alive to carry out assignments for him. I pray that we will all fulfil our God-given assignments, for His glory, in Jesus’ matchless Name. AMEN. PEACE.

Amen.”

Posted by admin on Apr 27th, 2010

Your mind is the faculty responsible for intellect, thought, feelings, reason and opinion. Everything starts happening from the mind before an action is taken.

Renewing of the mind is the restoration to freshness and vigour. When you renew your mind with the Word of God, you make it fresh because His Word is very powerful. You have to be renewed inwardly by God’s Word on a daily basis.

The bible says in Romans 12:1-2, “Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will”.

When you conform to the pattern of this world, you act in accordance with what the world is telling you. In effect, you are trapped in all the entanglements of the world. But when you renew your mind with the Word of God, you are transformed from the old pattern to the new. This means you cross over and become a changed person, alleluia!!

The renewal of your mind with God’s Word is like metamorphosis, which is a complete change of form, structure, character and appearance. The power in the Word of God makes the change a supernatural one and you will notice the difference. God’s Word is living and active and sharper than any double-edge sword. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

God knows all the thoughts of man and as a man thinks, so he becomes. There is a corresponding Word of God for every situation you face. Positive thinking is the key to breakthroughs and success. When you confess the Word of God and believe what His Word says, your mind will be cleansed and refreshed.

Child of God, I encourage you to prepare your mind for action and be self-controlled, relying fully on the Grace of God. As you do this, you will be made new in the attitude of your mind. You will put on a new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Once you allow His Word to sink into your thoughts, you will never go wrong. PEACE!

Amen.”

Congratulations, if you have prayed this prayer. Please look for a Bible-believing church, to fellowship with the brethren. Please do not hesitate to contact me, if I can be of any assistance to you. Remain blessed and enjoy the presence of the Lord.
