Yes, child of God, “you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength.” Philippians 4:13. Christ means The Anointed One and through His anointing, you can do all things, in accordance with His Word, to His glory. It is neither by power nor by might, but by His Spirit, which makes everything possible for you.

This does not mean that you can do whatever you want or even do what somebody else does. But it means you can do anything God assigns you to do. He gives you the ability with each assignment and all glory goes to Him alone.

It is advisable to stay within the boundaries of what God has called you to do and not try to undertake things that are not part of His will for your life. You need to apply Godly wisdom in everything you do and not lean on your own wisdom or understanding. God wants you to look up to Him for answers all the time and not to others.

This does not mean that you cannot learn or glean from others; it just means that you focus on God for the plan that will lead you to success. The Almighty has a unique plan for you as His Word says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

If you don’t accept that God has a great plan for your life, you will live in constant frustration. His plans for you are great and exciting. We need to cultivate the habit of doing things God’s way and not our way. His anointing energizes us and leads us in the right direction. He gives us strength in our weary moments so that we can handle whatever we need to do, for His glory.

Child of God, be encouraged, as God is with you all the way. He will enable you to do all that He has called you to do, for His glory. Praise God that you can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you. Alleluia!

Child of God, be motivated everyday to be an achiever and find value in God, for you have been bought with a high price. As you can do all things through the anointing, which strengthens you, you already have victory in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

You also have dominion over every challenge you may face. I encourage you to be conscious of God’s divine presence and expect the very best to come out of each day. It is by faith that all things are made possible and it is by faith that you can go all things. You can do nothing in your own strength; hence you need to allow the Spirit of God to work in you and through you.

Be courageous, as it is impossible to live victoriously for Christ, without courage. Your courage has to be accompanied by your faith, which is the currency of heaven. If you trust God’s wisdom and do things in His way, your daily living will grow deep and strong. Allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in you always and let Him direct you in the way you should go.

On tough days, do not quit, but persevere. Stand firm, be strong, resilient and determined to see things through. Ask God for help and He will build a protective shield around your heart, stabilizing you. Always remember that God’s power is inside of you and you will be energized as you depend on His power.

I encourage you to be very sensitive to the Spirit of God and always ask Him for directions. He is there to guide you and He will never lead you astray. Commit everything you do to Him and you will experience the miraculous and the supernatural.

Child of God, always remember that the Lord is with you always and He will direct you in the way you should go. He will enable you to do all things through Christ, who strengthens you. Always lean on Him heavily and you will not be disappointed.   PEACE.

You Are Precious And Honoured In God’s Sight.

Posted by admin on Feb 1st, 2011

The Almighty God is mindful of you and cares for you so much that He has crowned you with glory and honour. The Psalmist says in Psalm 8:4-6, “What is man that You (God) are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honour. You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet.”

Once you catch the glimpse of who God is and what He can accomplish in and through your life, you will be astonished by the amount of love and care He has for you. This calls for your response of the loudest praise and worship. God’s opinion about you is summed up in His Word as stated in Isaiah 43:4, “Since you are precious and honoured in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you.”

You are precious and of great value to God. You are the apple of His eye. You are His beloved and you are honoured in His sight; and He loves you with and everlasting love. You are His handiwork and He has high hopes for you. If you don’t believe in yourself, you will end up living to please others; and this is not of God. The best thing you can do for yourself is believe what God says about you, believe in yourself and live to please God, and not man.

The God of all grace will make you perfect, establish and strengthen you, all the way. He will never leave you nor forsake you for one minute, because He is the Almighty. As you are precious and honoured in God’s sight, honour Him and make HIM number ONE in your life. If you put Him in the place of honour, every other thing will have to come after HIM.

The bible says in Proverbs 3:9, “Honour the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.” If you honour God with the best of everything, He will definitely visit you with overflowing blessings, and you will be amazed! Give honour and thanks to HIM who sits on the throne and who lives forever and ever. Our God is worthy of double honour and deserves our praise at all times.

Child of God, remember, you are precious and honoured on Jehovah’s sight and He loves you so much. Never forget that; be encouraged!    PEACE

Your Life Is Shaped By Your Thoughts

Posted by admin on Nov 30th, 2010

Our life is our manner of living, vigour and liveliness; and our heart is the centre of emotions. The Word of God tells us in Proverbs 4:23, “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. The issues of life come out of the heart and influence everything else in your life. The heart is the place where true success originates and where character is formed.

All types of thoughts start from the heart and that is why God tells us to guard our heart with all diligence. The type of thoughts that originates from your heart shapes your life. In effect, you are in the “driving seat” of your life. But the Holy Spirit can help you in this “driving seat” so that you can obtain good results, which will bring glory to God.

We need to keep our heart with all vigilance and make sure that our thoughts are pure. Evil or negative thoughts do not do any justice to your life. God’s Word says, “For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7.  You see, you become whatever you think in your heart, whether good or bad. You are the product of your thoughts; hence you need to take captive of every thought and cast down every imagination.

The bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5, “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” We need to refocus our mind and rise above every negative thought. Let your thoughts be in line with the Word of God always. Whatever you say or think is what manifests in your life. You need to get on with thoughts that really matter.

Your attitude to life and towards others determines your outcome. As God’s Word says we become what we think, we should not give in to our daydreams, but fill our minds with the Word of God. Hide His Word in your heart so that you will not sin against Him. Also, cleanse your heart with the powerful Word of God and renew your mind on a daily basis.

Child of God, let pure thoughts come from your heart. If you have negative thoughts, you produce negativity, but if you have positive thoughts, you produce positive results. I encourage you to choose to have positive thoughts as your life is shaped by your thoughts.

Whenever negative thoughts crop up in your mind, use the Word of God to demolish them and focus on what God says about your life. If you have a great attitude, you will always win and be victorious. Victory, at all times, is the will of God for you and this will be your portion, in Jesus’ precious name. AMEN.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

Be Yourself Because You Are An Original

Posted by admin on Jul 6th, 2010

When you decide to be yourself, you settle to exist and live as yourself; not like somebody else. I would like to inform you that there is no one like you on planet earth, because you are an original, created by our Almighty God.

You may look like someone or they may look like you, but you are not exactly the same. All your features are unique and no one on this planet has your fingerprints. The Psalmists says about our God, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalm 139:14-16

God took time to make you and He put everything in place. You were fearfully and wonderfully made. As He has not got a duplicating machine, He made you as an original copy and no one can duplicate you. You are an unusual creative and inventive work of the Almighty God. In the secular world, you are able to make photocopies of an original work of art or document. But in your case, no one can make copies of you, as you are an original and you are unique! ALLELUIA!

Our God is a beautiful God and He has made you in His own image. So this means you are beautiful too, and you are one of a kind on planet earth. Hence you should rejoice and glorify God for all the good things He has put in you.

The Almighty has created your inmost being and knitted you together in your mother’s womb. So, you are a masterpiece and a great handiwork of El-Shaddai, our Almighty God. He originated you and began to put you together while you were still in the soft silence of your mother’s womb. You are not a mistake and you are not junk, as God does not make mistakes nor create junk. He specialises in originality.

As The Almighty God took so much time to make you, it will be a waste of time if you want to be like someone else. This will be disappointing to our Heavenly Father. He wants you to be yourself and show off His great handiwork. After He finished creating you, He said you were good and you are still good; nothing has changed.

God has a purpose for creating you just as you are and He has a perfect plan for your life. His plan for you is good and not for evil. If you follow God’s plan for your life, you will fulfil divine destiny. Let me ask you a question; “Why would you like to look like somebody else?” God knows why He has made your eyes, legs, ears, mouth, arms, hands and all the parts of your body the way they are.

He knew fully well that they are just right for you and not for someone else. So God expects you to be fully content and happy within you. He expects gratefulness from you and appreciation for His great handiwork. If you desire to be like someone else, because you think they look better than you, then you are telling God that He did not know what He was doing when He created you. This would be a great insult to Him and I know you would not like to insult THE ALMIGHTY.

Originality is very important to God, as He is our Originator. Child of God, I encourage you to be content with who you are and be comfortable in your own skin. Glorify God and thank Him for the way He has made you. Do not let inferiority complex take hold of you, as this is not of God.

Be happy, genuinely challenged and fulfilled in life. Let the direction of your life lead you toward a satisfying and meaningful future. By doing this, you will be in the nucleus of God’s will for your life. Celebrate God and praise Him for creating you as His masterpiece and appreciate His great handiwork. BE YOURSELF and enjoy the PEACE of God.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Thank you for dying for me on the cross, to set me free from my sins. I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.”

God Is In Charge Of Your “Spiritual Make-Up”

Posted by admin on Jun 18th, 2010

“Spiritual Make-up” can be described as the putting together and completion of all you need to do what God has called you to do. He prepares you systematically and equips you with His anointing to do His work. This process can only be successful if you co-operate with the Lord and you do not go ahead of Him.

There is the story of a Jewish orphan girl in the bible. Her name is Esther, which means, “star, dazzling or brilliant one” and her other name was Hadassah, which means, “hidden”. Her cousin, Mordecai, brought her up and she was lovely in form and features. At that time, the king of Persia was in search for a new queen after his wife was deposed.

Many girls were brought to the palace and Esther was one of them. They were all entrusted into the care of a man called Hegai, one of the king’s officials. It was Hegai’s duty to find the best girl for the king. The custom was for all the girls to go through the process of beauty treatments for twelve months; six months with oil of myrrh and six months with perfumes and cosmetics.

Out of all the girls, Esther pleased Hegai and she won his favour. “Immediately, he provided her with her beauty treatments and special food. He assigned to her seven maids selected from the king’s palace and moved her and her maids into the best place in the harem”. Esther 2:9.

During the process of the beauty treatments, Esther asked for nothing other than that which Hegai suggested. She was very focussed and underwent all the beauty treatments systematically. She did not go ahead of Hegai but listened carefully to all his instructions. And she won the favour of everyone who saw her.

When the time came for all the girls to be taken to the king, he was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women. So the king set up a royal crown on Esther and made her Queen. She was later used, by God, to deliver her people, the Jews, from annihilation.

We can all learn a few lessons from the way Esther conducted herself. If you want to enjoy God’s divine favour, take the necessary time to prepare yourself for His work. But it is very important for you to submit to God’s way, in the preparation. Do not go ahead of Him as He has called you; so He knows exactly what to do in the preparation. There are no short cuts in God’s way; it is all or nothing.

There is a price to pay during your “spiritual make-up” and this includes study, planned preparation and discipline. God will greatly reward you if you are prepared to pay this price. As Esther sought the approval of only one man, the king, so we must only seek the approval of our  God, who is the KING of kings and the LORD of lords. Seeking the approval of man is out of the question because man did not call you; the Almighty God called you. So, all eyes should be on Him and you need to carry out all His instructions, to the letter.

Once you have allowed God to perform your “spiritual make-up”, you will be able to carry out the work He called you to do. And only His opinion matters at the end of the day; man’s opinion does not count. Remember that before you were born, God has already set you apart to do His work. You were born with a plan and a set of divine instructions.

Child of God, if you listen carefully to the Lord and you do not step out ahead of Him, He will definitely reveal His great plan to you. You will enjoy His divine favour always. I encourage you to focus on God and do not look left or right for answers. Only our God has got all the answers and The Holy Spirit will empower, direct, and enable you to carry out His work, to the glory of our Lord.   PEACE

Your “Dry Bones” Shall Live Again – Part 1

Posted by admin on Jun 14th, 2010

All things are possible with God and you need to believe Him for everything, as He is more than able. He is the Almighty God and His Hand is not short. Nothing is too hard for Him to do. If you believe in the Word of God and do not doubt in your heart, you will have whatever you ask for.

Be careful not to write someone or something off because God has not finished with them yet. Do not underestimate the power of God; He has got the ultimate power and He has the whole world in His Hands. He is more than able to bring dead situations back to life. The Almighty God is able to restore someone you might think is useless in the sight of men.

It is not advisable to write off anyone or situation you think may be beyond restoration. God is alive and He is not nervous; He is at work in your life. He never sleeps nor slumbers and His eyes go to and fro over the universe. He is never tired of coming to our aid, as He loves us so much.

The bible tells us in Ezekiel 37:1-6, when God spoke to Prophet Ezekiel, “The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord, and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry”. “He asked me,, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “O Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, “Dry bones, hear the Word of the Lord!

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

God is faithful and He will allow your “dry bones” to live again if you trust Him and His Word. There is no way He will forsake you, as He is not man. He will always be by your side and give you the victory. Look unto Him only as your help comes from Him only and not from man. Man may disappoint you but God will never disappoint you.

Child of God, our Almighty Father is waiting for you to prophesy into every “dead” situation in your life and He will do something. If you play your own part, God will definitely play His part, as you are a co-worker with Him.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer: “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Thank you for dying for me on the cross, to set me free from my sins. I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.”

Your “Dry Bones” Shall Live Again – Part 2

Posted by admin on Jun 14th, 2010

A “dry bone” in your life could be problems in your finances, marriage, health, family, job, relationship or ministry. God is telling you to prophesy into that dead situation and bring it alive. Be a prophet over your life and prophesy to your “dry bones” and command them to hear the Word of God.

Command them to come alive by using the authority Jesus has already given you when He said, “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19. There is power in the Word of God and His Word is like fire and sharper than any two-edged sword.

When you speak God’s Word, with His confidence, to any dead situation, in the name of Jesus, “I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.” John 14:13-14.

This is an invitation from Jesus and you cannot afford to refuse it. God is in the business of restoration and that is why you must never give up on any matter. Child of God, I encourage you to rise up in your spirit now and begin to speak to that “dry bone”. You will experience changes, as God will rise on your behalf.

The kingdom of God has been forcefully advancing and forceful men lay hold of it. Be violent in your spirit and take what belongs to you by force. Do not give Satan a foothold because we are not unaware of his devices.

Your “dry bones” shall live again, if you go about it in God’s way; if you use the weapon He has given you. This weapon is the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. There is nothing more powerful than His Word.

When Prophet Ezekiel prophesied to the valley of dry bones as he was commanded, all the bones came together; tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them. But then, they had no breath in them. So the Lord commanded him to prophesy breath into them. Breath came into them and they all came to life and stood up on their feet! ALLELUIA!

Child of God, when you speak the Word of God to your “dry bones”, do not stop until they come alive fully. Half measures do not work; go all the way until you get good and lasting results.

Go on, prophesy to those “dry bones” now and you will see them come alive, in Jesus’ mighty name. AMEN. Enjoy the peace and goodness of the Lord.

You Have Come For Such A Time As This

Posted by admin on Mar 17th, 2010

You have been fearfully and wonderfully made for assignment on planet earth. When God created you, He had a good plan for you and He has hemmed you into that plan. His mighty Hand is upon your life and He dearly wants you to be in His will and purposes for your life.

The bible tells us about the story of a Jewish woman called Esther, whose name means star. She was an orphan and was brought up by her uncle, Mordecai. When Queen Vashti was deposed by King Xerxes of Persia, Esther was crowned Queen, after she won the contest.

God was at work behind the scenes, to make this happen. The book of Esther is the only book in the bible in which God’s name is not mentioned once, but His Hand is at work, moving from the beginning to the end. He is in control and nothing just happened by chance.

At the time of Esther’s coronation, there was an influential and  wealthy leader in the name of Haman, who hated the Jews. He was very jealous of Mordecai, Esther’s uncle, because he would not bow down to him and respect him. Haman became angry and plotted to annihilate the Jews. He would have gotten away with his evil plan if the Hand of God had not worked among His people.

When Mordecai found out about Haman’s plot, he asked Esther to urge the king for mercy and plead with him for the Jews. Esther was reluctant to approach the king, as the protocol was very strict. The only way was for the king to extend the gold sceptre to the Queen.

However, Esther, who had not been aware of the cruel plot against her people, listened to Mordecai’s passionate plea. Mordecai told her, “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this”. Esther 4:14.

Esther sprang into action and found ways in which she would expose Haman, the adversary and enemy of the Jews, to the king. The king then ordered Haman to be hanged in the gallows, which, Haman had already built for Mordecai, his archenemy. All the Jews were then delivered from evil Haman.

Only our God could have brought an ending like this one. He used Esther, an orphan girl, to deliver her people from annihilation. God can use anyone to do His work on planet earth. The only requirement is the availability and the willingness of the ones He has chosen.

Joseph, one of Jacob’s sons, was chosen and sent ahead of his brothers to save lives in Egypt. He had to endure hardship after he was sold, by his brothers, into slavery. But God meant it for good and Joseph recognized the sovereignty of God. He knew that he was in God’s will and purposes for his life.

Child of God, you have come for such a time as this. Allow God to use you as His co-worker and all the glory will go to Him alone. He will use you to touch lives and populate His Kingdom. Your co-operation and obedience are very important. I pray that God will give you the grace to obey Him fully, in Jesus’ matchless name. AMEN.        PEACE!

Amen.”

Vow Now And Pay Later

Posted by admin on Jan 19th, 2010

A vow is a solemn or binding promise, which must not be taken lightly. You have to be a person of integrity and judge yourself on the matter of keeping your word. By doing this, you will encourage others to do the same as God wants us to encourage one another.

The bible says in Ecclesiastes 5:2-5, “Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty with your heart to utter anything before God. God is in Heaven and you are on the earth, so let your words be few. As a dream comes when there are many cares, so the speech of a fool when there are many words. When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfil your vow. It is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfil it”.

When you tell someone they can depend on you, let it be so and make every effort not to let them down. When you promise your brethren that you will be at a particular place at a particular time, do not disappoint them.

If you promise to pray for someone, endeavour to carry out such promise, as God looks at the heart. The person you have promised may not know that you have not kept to your word, but God knows.

Prophet Samuel’s mother, Hannah, made a vow to the Lord that if He gave her a son, she would give him back to HIM. God heard her vow and blessed her with Samuel. Hannah then paid her vow by giving Samuel back to the Lord. Because she paid her vow, God blessed her with three sons and two daughters, while the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord.

It is very dangerous to make a pledge and not fulfil it. If you do not fulfil your vow, you are widening your credibility gap. I encourage you to allow God’s Word motivate you to the highest standard of integrity.

The Psalmist says in Psalm 116:14, “ I will fulfil my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people”. I encourage you to let this be your testimony to the glory of God. Do not make vows rashly as this will set a trap for you.

One of the Israelite Judges, named Jephthah, made a vow to the Lord that if HE gave the Ammonites into his hands, “whatever comes out of the door of my house to meet me when I return in triumph from the Ammonites will be the Lord’s and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering”. Judges 11:31

After he returned home, it was his daughter who came out to meet him and she was an only child.  Jephthah had no choice but to sacrifice her as a burnt offering to the Lord as he had already vowed. It was a very painful vow to pay but Jephthah had no choice but to honour his vow. He understood that it is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfil it.

Our God does not take vows lightly; hence you must make sure that you can pay your vow before you make one. Remain focussed before you make any vow and understand what the vow is all about.

Child of God, whenever you vow, you need to pay later. I pray that God will grant you His grace to do this always.  PEACE

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

Congratulations, if you have prayed this prayer. Please look for a Bible-believing church, to fellowship with the brethren. Please do not hesitate to contact me, if I can be of any assistance to you. Remain blessed and enjoy the presence of the Lord.
