There Is An “If” In God’s Blessings

Posted by admin on Feb 15th, 2010

A blessing is a cause of happiness and living a blissful life. It is also good success, good wishes, contentment and satisfaction. A blessed person is favoured of the Lord and enjoys HIS presence at all times.

God wants all His children to enjoy His blessings but there is a condition and this is expressed by a small, but powerful word called “if”. The bible tells us in Deuteronomy 28:1-6,  “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow His commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.

“All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock – the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your kneading troughs will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and you will be blessed when you go out”.

Child of God, you can see all the blessings the Lord will bestow on you if you fully obey Him. Also if you keep His commands and walk in His ways, He will establish you as one of His holy people. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord, you will always be on top and never at the bottom.

The Lord will bless you with peace if you fully obey Him. His blessings will bring wealth and He will not add any trouble to it. He will send down showers of blessings in season and you will enjoy these blessings as you do the Lord’s will. If you keep the Word of the Lord, you will be blessed and He will increase you in every area of your life.

You will be blessed if you do not walk in the counsel of the wicked, stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. If you are in God’s will, blessings will pursue you all the days of your life. If you listen to God and watch daily at His doors, you will receive great blessings from Him.

God says in His Word in Malachi 3:10 that if you test Him and pay your tithe faithfully, He will open the floodgates of Heaven and pour you out a blessing that you will not have enough room for it! Wow! This is very powerful and I know you want to receive all the blessings God has for you.

If you seek God’s kingdom and His righteousness with all of your heart, blessings will be added onto you. He will give you blessing galore and you will be a blessing to the nations, for His own glory. Alleluia !

Worry Is An Insult To God

Posted by admin on Feb 1st, 2010

Worry is a cause or feeling of anxiety over a particular incident or issue of life. A worried person becomes uneasy and frets about what might happen. Most of the time, they discover that there is no substance in what they are worried about!

Our Lord Jesus Christ says in Matthew 6:25-27, “Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”

When you worry, you are telling God that He is not capable of handling the situation. He is the Almighty and it is an insult to think that He is not able to see you through that problem. He is more than able and He will even do exceedingly and abundantly above your expectations.

If God could feed the birds of the air and clothe the lilies of the field, He will do much more for you because you are precious in His sight. You are the apple of His eye and He loves you dearly. He wants you to cast all your cares onto His broad shoulders and you will be amazed at the wonders of our Almighty God.

I encourage you to put your faith to work and worry will be a thing of the past for you. You need to exercise your faith on a daily basis and seek His kingdom, which is righteousness, peace and joy. Once you do this, everything else will be added onto you and you will notice that worry will fade away for good.

Worry can never solve any problem but the Word of God can. The more you worry, the more disturbed you become and you will not be able to pray. The problem will them become enlarged and get out of control. But when you confess the Word of God about the situation, stand on it and you will see God move in a mighty way.

Child of God, Jesus is inviting you today to cast all your cares upon Him and He will sustain you. He will never let you fall as He has engraved you on the palms of His Hands. He cares for you so much and He wants you to lay all your anxiety at His feet, and He will take care of them, free of charge!

Refuse to worry, as God already knows what you are going through. He just wants you to trust Him and He will work things out for your own good. Do not allow discouragement to take root in your life. Be encouraged and believe that God is in the midst of all your challenges. You will have a testimony, to the glory of our Almighty Father. PEACE

PRAYER OF SALVATION

Vow Now And Pay Later

Posted by admin on Jan 19th, 2010

A vow is a solemn or binding promise, which must not be taken lightly. You have to be a person of integrity and judge yourself on the matter of keeping your word. By doing this, you will encourage others to do the same as God wants us to encourage one another.

The bible says in Ecclesiastes 5:2-5, “Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty with your heart to utter anything before God. God is in Heaven and you are on the earth, so let your words be few. As a dream comes when there are many cares, so the speech of a fool when there are many words. When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfil your vow. It is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfil it”.

When you tell someone they can depend on you, let it be so and make every effort not to let them down. When you promise your brethren that you will be at a particular place at a particular time, do not disappoint them.

If you promise to pray for someone, endeavour to carry out such promise, as God looks at the heart. The person you have promised may not know that you have not kept to your word, but God knows.

Prophet Samuel’s mother, Hannah, made a vow to the Lord that if He gave her a son, she would give him back to HIM. God heard her vow and blessed her with Samuel. Hannah then paid her vow by giving Samuel back to the Lord. Because she paid her vow, God blessed her with three sons and two daughters, while the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord.

It is very dangerous to make a pledge and not fulfil it. If you do not fulfil your vow, you are widening your credibility gap. I encourage you to allow God’s Word motivate you to the highest standard of integrity.

The Psalmist says in Psalm 116:14, “ I will fulfil my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people”. I encourage you to let this be your testimony to the glory of God. Do not make vows rashly as this will set a trap for you.

One of the Israelite Judges, named Jephthah, made a vow to the Lord that if HE gave the Ammonites into his hands, “whatever comes out of the door of my house to meet me when I return in triumph from the Ammonites will be the Lord’s and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering”. Judges 11:31

After he returned home, it was his daughter who came out to meet him and she was an only child.  Jephthah had no choice but to sacrifice her as a burnt offering to the Lord as he had already vowed. It was a very painful vow to pay but Jephthah had no choice but to honour his vow. He understood that it is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfil it.

Our God does not take vows lightly; hence you must make sure that you can pay your vow before you make one. Remain focussed before you make any vow and understand what the vow is all about.

Child of God, whenever you vow, you need to pay later. I pray that God will grant you His grace to do this always.  PEACE

God Has Chosen You

Posted by admin on Dec 18th, 2009

You have been chosen or selected by God to carry out unbelievable tasks for Him. You are one of those called to do a great work for the Lord. You may be feeling that you are the last person to do this work or you may be feeling totally inadequate. But you may be the very one God has set aside for His work.

It does not matter how old you are; God calls people of all ages. He called Prophet Samuel when he was just a young boy, placed in the care of Eli, the Priest. (Please see 1 Samuel 3) You have been set aside even before the foundations of the earth. At that young age, Samuel answered the call of God and he went on to be a great prophet and judge in Israel.

The bible says in Jeremiah 1:5-8, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations”. But Jeremiah gave an excuse and said, “Ah, Sovereign Lord, I do not know how to speak; I am only a child”. But the Lord said to him, “Do not say, “I am only a child”. You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you”, declares the Lord.

You see, child of God, He does not accept excuses; He is the Almighty. If He has called you to do something, He knows you can do it because He has already packaged you with the ability and strength to do it. So, excuses are not part of God’s agenda!

When God called prophet Moses to deliver the Israelites from Pharaoh in Egypt, he gave an excuse saying, “O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue”. Exodus 4:10.

But God was not having any of the excuses Moses was giving; he even asked God to send someone else. But The Lord told him to go and He will help him speak and carry out the work. God has a plan and purpose for your life and this plan was decided even before you were born. When God called Jeremiah, he was probably in his late teens. Jeremiah’s response was focussed on his weaknesses and lack of qualification.

Jeremiah believed that he did not have the proper skills or experienced in speaking as a prophet. God uses unlikely or sub-standard people to carry out great work for Him. But when He is ignored, you will pay a great price. Prophet Jonah did not heed the instructions of God, when He told him to go to Nineveh and preach against the wickedness of the people.

Instead, Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed to Tarshish, and he found himself inside the belly of a great fish, because of his disobedience. It is much easier to obey God in the first place than to disobey and pay a great penalty. It is a great honour that God has chosen you for His work and you should rejoice and answer this call with gladness.

The Word of God says in Ephesians 1:11, “In Him, we were chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will”. Wow, this is powerful! In effect, you were God’s prescription. He prescribed or ordained you before you were born, to be one of His great army. What a great honour! Alleluia!

He chose you before creation; hence you are not an afterthought and you are not a mistake. You are a forethought and He loves you very much. God chooses imperfect people and all He is looking for is their availability to carry out the work. Child of God, I encourage you to answer the call of God and make yourself available for His great work. You will not regret it. PEACE.

Allow God To Heal Your Past

Posted by admin on Dec 11th, 2009

It does not matter what you have gone through in the past, God is asking you to allow Him to heal you. The word “past” means completed, ended and time has already elapsed. Yes, you may still be hurting from the happenings of the past, but the Lord wants you to give them to Him. He is the only one who can really touch and heal you in a miraculous way.

Yes, God understands what you have gone through, because He was in there with you all along; but you may not have known it. His Word says in Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze”.

Wow, what a divine and awesome protection for you! All the time you were going through some serious stuff in the past, God did not let you drown in it and He did not let you get destroyed. What a kind and compassionate God we serve! He is with you all the time and He is watching over you. He will not let go through stuff that you cannot cope with. He will always show up and give you strength.

Now that all these things are in the past, He says your “past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes”. Isaiah 65:16b. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind, as He will take care of them. Our God will uphold you with His righteous right hand and help you to cope with the past hurts.

He wants you to “forget the former things and do not dwell on the past”. Isaiah 43:18. You see, child of God, your past is God’s raw material for working out your present and your future. Your past was a training ground for your promotion. He will use your past to touch other lives and turn it to a message to bless others. But He cannot do this unless you allow Him to heal you first.

Once you are healed and cleansed by our Almighty God, then you can focus on serving Him and using your past experience to bless others. Our God is able; let go and let Him help you. I am not despising your past, but I encourage you not to dwell on it, as there is nothing you can do about it. But God is able to do something about it. He can turn it around for His own glory.

It does not matter what you have done, God will forgive you, once you have confessed them to Him and committed your life to Jesus Christ. He loves you so much; hence He gave you the best. He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to come and die on the cross, even for all the things done in the past. Jesus nailed them onto the cross so that you will be free. Why carry them along with you?

Apostle Paul used to persecute and kill Christians, before our Lord, Jesus, arrested him on the way to Damascus. Despite all his horrible past, God chose to use Him to touch lives, for His own glory. The Lord used Apostle Paul to write two thirds of the New Testament. God can use you also, if you let Him.

Child of God, I encourage you to allow Him to heal you and be set free from the excess baggage you are carrying with you. It is not worth carrying all this pain; you need to be set free. If you let Him, you can get your deliverance today and go on to be what He has called you to be. God is waiting on you!   PEACE

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Thank you for dying for me on the cross, to set me free from my sins. I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.”

Stop Condemning Yourself

Posted by admin on Dec 4th, 2009

Condemnation is the expression of strong disapproval of someone or something and also the feeling of a sense of guilt about something. Self-condemnation happens as s result of feeling inadequate about yourself. Also, if you do not love yourself, you tend to condemn yourself all the time.

There are so may people who are condemning themselves because of past failures, disappointments or hurts they have gone through. They are blaming themselves for all the past disappointing events. They have already committed their lives to God, asked Him to forgive them and He has truly forgiven them. But they are unable to move on because of self-condemnation.

Child of God, this feeling is from Satan and you are to resist him and he will flee from you. The bible says in John 3:17-19, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son”.

Jesus came to die for you and all your mistakes; and He nailed all your sins and condemnation to the cross. So why do you still condemn yourself, if He does not condemn you? Yes, you may have gone through some stuff and you may have failed in the past, but this is now. You are a child of God and He loves you unconditionally.

Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for you would be a waste if you still condemn yourself or feel condemned. He has forgiven you all your sins and you need to receive this forgiveness from Him and learn to forgive yourself. When God forgives you, He wipes away all your sins and gives you a clean slate. He then chooses not to remember your sins because He is God; not because He is forgetful.

His Word says in Isaiah 43:25, “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgression for my own sake and remembers them no more”. You see, when God forgives, He forgets. He is not like man who holds on to past failures and reminds you of them. Child of God, let go of self-condemnation, as God wants to use you to touch other lives.

But, He cannot use you when you are in the state of condemnation. He wants to use you as His vessel and He does not want you to carry any excess baggage of guilt and condemnation with you. This does not glorify Him at all! You need to see yourself as God sees you. You are precious and honoured in His sight because He loves you.

Jesus told the woman who was caught in adultery, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”  “No one, sir”, she said. “Then neither do I condemn you”, Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin”. John 8:10-11. This is very powerful indeed and this scripture should be an encouragement to you.

I want to encourage you with a short testimony about myself. Before I met my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, I was going through a lot of pain, anger, hurt, unforgiveness, guilt, bitterness, and frustration. After the Grace of God saved me, the Lord gave me deliverance from all of these, through His powerful Word, and set me free.

But after some time, I started condemning myself and felt very inadequate. One day, I was driving home and The Lord told me, “I want to use you but you are busy condemning yourself!” This was the beginning of my freedom from self-condemnation. I had to repent and asked God to forgive me. Then I yielded myself to Him, to use me for His glory.

Child of God, you can be set free, today, from self-condemnation because the Word of God says in Romans 8:1, “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus, the law of the spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death”.

No matter what you have done or gone through, let go and let God be God in your life. He is waiting on you to save lives for His kingdom. I encourage you to yield yourself to him today, and you will be mightily blessed.   PEACE!

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

God Is Your Source

Posted by admin on Nov 25th, 2009

There is no one more reliable than the Almighty God and His will for your life is perfect. He can never deceive you nor let you down, because He is not a man; He is the Omnipotent God. If you recognize Him as your source, you will never be disappointed. Your help comes from Him and not from man. He is the Maker of Heaven and earth and He will not let your foot slip. Man will definitely disappoint you, if you go to him as your source.

Blessings will pursue you when you go to God always, as your source. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 8:18, “But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your forefathers, as it is today”. Your job or your business is not your source. It is God who provided that job or that business and then gives you the power or ability to work. You cannot do things in your own strength; it is God who enables you to function.

Your love for Him should cast out any fear and doubt; hence you can lean on Him completely. He will keep you from falling as long as you rely on Him. He is the Good Shepherd and He cares for you. The Lord is your refuge and your fortress; and He will not let you down. The Lord is a willing and caring confidant you can rely on at all times. He is your Strength, Mighty Rock, Stronghold and High Tower. If you commit whatever you do to the Lord, your plans will succeed always. He has a perfect will for your life and you must depend and count on Him.

Child of God, I encourage you to recognize the Omnipotent Father as your source always and give Him the glory for giving you the ability to get wealth. You will never go wrong if you do this, and blessings will be yours always, in Jesus’ mighty Name.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

God Is Doing A New Thing

Posted by admin on Nov 4th, 2009

Our God is a God of new beginnings. His Word says in Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up, do you not perceive 1t? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland”.

No matter what you have gone through or going through right now, God is going to do a new thing in your life, if you allow Him. He wants you to forget all your past pains and failures, so that you can give Him the green light to do a new thing. If you let your past failures block the way, God will not be able to move in your life.

You need to let God be God and give Him the permission to perform miracles in your life. You should not let your past failures cloud your present and do not let them choke your future. Apostle Paul says in Philippians 3:13b-14, “But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward, in Christ Jesus”.

I presume we all know about the story of Apostle Paul, when he was known as Saul and persecuting the christians. He then had an encounter with our Lord, Jesus Christ, as he came near to Damascus. He was going to take Christians as prisoners to Jerusalem. The bible tells in Acts 9:3-6, “As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” “Who are you Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting”. He replied.

Saul had an encounter with our Lord, Jesus Christ, and he allowed Him to touch his life in a mighty way. Even though, Saul had a terrible past, he made a choice to forget and move on. God then used him to touch so many lives and he ended writing most of the books in the New Testament. What an awesome testimony!

When you let go of your past failures and pain, God will do a new thing and use you mightily to touch many lives. Paul chose to forget what was behind him, and moved on to win the prize for which God had called him. I know that you will have a testimony when you allow God to do new thing in your life.

Even, past success can cloud and choke your present and future, if you do not let go of them. For example, one could be dwelling on the fact that they were a millionaire or very successful once before. That was then; what is happening now? If they do not let go of their past success, God will not be able to do more for them.

Our God is “Jehovah I am” and not “Jehovah I was”. He is a God of now, and He wants to work in your life, if you allow Him. He wants you to “see I am doing a new thing”. What you are able to see is what you are able to get from Him. The bible says in Genesis 13:14-15, “The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see, I will give to you and your offspring forever”.

Wow! What a great promise from the Lord. When you have a vision of what God is about to do in your life, you will let go of your past failures and successes. The bible says, “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge (or vision)” Hosea 4:6. In short, your miracle is in your hands, if you co-operate with the Almighty.

I want to encourage you with a short testimony about myself. Before I met my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, I was going through a lot of pain, anger, unforgiveness, guilt, condemnation, bitterness and frustration. After I got saved, by the Grace of God, the Lord gave me deliverance through the scripture in Isaiah 43:18-19 (which I quoted in the first paragraph). He made me to understand that all I had gone through was like “split milk” and there was nothing I could do about them. He also told me, through His Word,  that  “there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”. Romans 8:1

But He gave me His grace to accept the situation and co-operate with Him to get my deliverance. He performed a “spiritual surgical operation” on me and uprooted all the pain, anger, unforgiveness, guilt, condemnation, bitterness and frustration. At the end of it, He set me free from all those things and gave me a thorough cleansing. Alleluia! No doctor on planet earth could have done that for me. Whoever the Lord sets free, is free indeed!

Child of God, you can be set free today, from all those past failures and pain that are taking hold of you. I am not despising your pain; but I know that my God who did for me will do more for you. He is no Respecter of persons; He loves all of us, equally. Let God be God; let go of all those hurts and lay them at the foot of the cross. Let God work through you and set you free today; you will be glad you did. I pray that God will grant you grace to let go, as He did for me, in Jesus’ matchless Name, Amen. Enjoy the peace of the Lord.

Use Your Talents To Glorify God

Posted by admin on Nov 3rd, 2009

The bible says in Matthew 25:14-15, “Again the kingdom of God will be like a man on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. To one, he gave five talents of money, to another, two talents, and to another, one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey”.

Our God has packaged each and every one of us with different types of talents. They do not belong to us; they are to be used for God’s glory. These talents vary from one individual to the other. Hence you must not crave to have the same talent as your neighbour or be jealous of them.

The Lord wants you to push out the talents He has given you so that His will and purposes for your life may be fulfilled. He wants you to be fruitful as His Word says in Genesis 1:28, “ Be fruitful and increase in number, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sae and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground”. God wants you to have dominion, which is power to rule and have authority.

The bible tells us more about the men who had been given some talents by their master. In Matthew 25: 16-18, the scripture reads, ”The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money”, because he was afraid.

The man who got the five talents was commended by his master and he was given five more; so also the man with the two talents. Their master told each of them, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness”. Matthew 25: 23.

But the man with the one talent was condemned as a “ wicked and lazy servant”, because he hid his talent in the ground. He was stripped of that one talent and it was given to the man who had doubled his five talents. I pray that this will not be your portion, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Most of us are “pregnant” with the talents God has given us; there are business ideas inside of us. It is time to go into the “spiritual labour room” and give birth to these talents, for the Glory of God. We do not want to be like the man who buried his only talent. When you begin to make what you have available, to God, it will begin to multiply. Our God is looking for available people, who are ready to multiply their talents.

When God saved us by Grace, He did not save us so that we can sit back and enjoy ourselves. He saved us so that we can use our talents to evangelise to souls and win them for His kingdom. He will speak through us; our part is to sew the seed and He will water it Himself.

I would like to give a short testimony, to the Glory of God. When I was in secondary school, I hated needlework and cookery; I only knew how to cook our native foods and not foreign foods. A year after I met my Lord Jesus Christ and gave my life to Him, I discovered that God had already packaged the gifts of sewing and various types of cooking in me. He started giving me creative ideas and showed me how to sew by hand, and also how to cook various foreign foods. Praise God, I am now able to use these gifts to serve others, who need my help.

Child of God, I encourage you to use your talents to help others in the kingdom. Your local church needs your talent for the extension of the kingdom. Do not be afraid and let God be God in everything you do. When you serve God with your talents, He will increase you and bless you beyond your expectation and God’s name only will be glorified.

Just Trust In The Lord Always

Posted by admin on Oct 28th, 2009

“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight”. Proverbs 3:5-6. You must trust God without reservation and you must not doubt Him in all things.

There is no one more reliable than the Almighty God and His will for your life is perfect. He can never deceive you nor let you down, because He is not a man; He is the Omnipotent God. The scripture quoted above says you should trust Him with all of your heart; not 99.9% of it. The trust should be all or nothing.

The bible says in Proverbs 16:20b, “Blessed is he who trusts in the Lord”. Blessings follow you when you put your complete trust in Jehovah God. Once you depend on Him fully, He will never disappoint you. Man can give you some promises one minute and then disappoint you the next minute. Our God is not like man; He is sovereign and He will not let you fall.

“Trust in Him at all times, O people, pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge”. Psalm 62:8. If you trust in the Lord at all times, there is no way you can go wrong. You will have so much peace and you will have rest in Him. I encourage you to put your trust in the Lord as He cares deeply for those who trust in Him.

“Offer right sacrifices and trust in the Lord”. Psalm 4:5. God wants you to trust Him fearlessly and requires you to offer your body as a living sacrifice. Your love for Him should cast out any fear and doubt; hence you can trust Him completely. He will keep you from falling as long as you rely on Him. He is the Good Shepherd and He cares for you.

“I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:2. The Lord is a willing and caring confidant you can rely on at all times. He is your Strength, Mighty Rock, Fortress, Stronghold and High Tower. He will never leave you nor forsake you. If you commit whatever you do to the Lord, your plans will succeed always. He has a perfect will for your life and you must depend and count on Him.

When some of us want to board a plane to take us to another location, we put our trust in the pilot, who sits in the cockpit. We do not see him but we still put our trust in him anyway, to take us to our destination. We do not even know if he is fit to pilot the plane at that particular time, but we still trust him and rely on him for our safety. If we have so much trust in a pilot, how much more our Almighty God. Our trust in Him must be greater than the trust we put in a pilot or anyone else.

Child of God, I encourage you to trust in the Lord always, and do good. You will never go wrong and you will enjoy His peace and rest all the time.
